The BMW E24 M635CSi (referred to as the M6 in North America) was launched in 1983. The vehicle shares several styling traits with classic BMW designs, specifically the 'shark-nose' front end, and its sleek elegant proportions.
The M635CSi was powered by a 3.5 litre engine derived from the M88 unit made famous by the M1. The unit mustered an output of 286 bhp, achieved a 0-62 mph time of 6.4 seconds.
The 'M' derivative differs visually from standard E24 6-Series by way of a rear of a small boot spoiler, 'M' insignias, and an enlarged front air dam.
Production of the E24 M635CSi ran from 1983-1989 in which time 5,855 examples were created.
